Mooroolbark Festival Success!!

MECEC won second place in the Parade with more than 50 people marching in the parade. Prize was $200! Everyone was so colourful and it was wonderful to see some old faces again. With 600 donuts sold and a busy playspace using Croydon Toy Library rollercoaster cars, it can safely be said that today has been a very successful day.
Thank you to all the families that turned up so early on a Saturday morning to have your faces painted in such brilliant and creative costumes. We hope you enjoyed the parade and it was special for your children.
Acknowledgements to some special families for making the day such a success – The Beaumonts, Vos’s, Brydon’s, Rodger’s, Welden’s and Westlakes (sincere apologies to anyone we have missed)! Thanks too to our teachers for helping the children create their ties and one of our wonderful 4 Year old teachers Heather, who created her crepe paper shakers and was there smiling at our stall most of the day.
